AHE History Fair

My kids have really enjoyed putting together history fair projects for the last few years. It’s a great way to really delve into a topic and everyone (including me) ends up learning heaps! The challenge of figuring out how to present the information and preparing to answer questions from judges all adds to the fun.

Last year Alex did his project on Sir Ernest Shackleton, who was an explorer to Antarctica and an exceptional leader. Grace’s project was on Corrie ten Boom. We have just started to think about projects for this year – a little later than usual because it has been such a strange term so far, and libraries are still closed!

The AHE History Fair will be held online for the first time, on Wednesday 1st July. You can register here and see more info here. And because it’s online, there is much more scope than usual for getting creative with the presentation format.
